Frogs legs & snails In many English people's minds, the French typically eat such “strange” foods, but this is not really true today. In fact, these exotic delicacies are really kept on the menu in restaurants mostly for tourists.... Snail farming The Romans in Gaul as in Britain introduced the taste for eating snails, and the techniques of farming them. Today in north France, a few small producers keep this old craft alive.
