Flemish farmhouse

A turn-of-the-century village grocer's shop

Threshing in the farmyard

A Flemish village in 1900
On this vast square farm, you step into the farmhouse kitchen and you can just imagine you're back at the turn of the century. Recreated with authentic objects, you'll visit the baker's and grocer's shops, the village tavern, a hatter's worshop... There's also a collection of traditional tools, machines, clothes, toys and other objects to help you explore a past way of life in rural Flanders.

[left] "Tutor", Steenwerck's giant, is one of the tallest at 5.70m high. Tutor is based on a character in a popular 'twenties French jazz tune! [right] country walks around the village.
