Racing towards Paris	Fresh fish by horse-and-cart to Paris The era when travel and trade went at the speed of the horse has almost been forgotten. This new annual event recreates the days in the 19th century when thoroughbred heavy horses carried fresh fish from the ports of the Channel to the markets of Paris. Before the railway, the creation of better roads made this trade possible
